Band 6 Deputy Team Lead - Treatment

This is an exciting new opportunity to be the first deputy team lead radiographer to be based permanently at the Robert White Radiotherapy Centre in Dorchester which is renowned for its high standards of patient care.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and technically skilled radiographer to support the department’s aim to be a centre of excellence on the south coast.

At the Robert White Centre there is a Varian TrueBeam with patients planned on Varian’s Eclipse planning system and Mosaiq. The Unit is transitioning to become a single vendor department. As part of this transition, the centre’s aim is to introduce the latest evidenced based solutions for patient centered treatments including both SGRT &SABR. Although the post is based at the satellite centre, there will also be a rotation through the main department so the post holder can experience other specialist treatments.

Upon joining our team, the post holder will be supported with on-going professional and personal development and a comprehensive induction program.

Full time staff currently work their contracted hours over 4 days and are given a rolling day off each week with rotation. Applicants must be educated to DCR(T) / BSc Hons or equivalent and be registered with the Health Professions Council and have a minimum of 18 months post qualification experience.

Please note: if this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed from your salary.
