Surgical Ambulatory Emergency clinic (SAEC) is an admission avoidance pathway for surgical patients at Poole Hospital, we are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual that has a particular interest in caring for surgical patents in a clinic environment.

The SAEC is open Monday-Friday 8am- 8pm, and  is led by the Advanced  Nurse Practitioner(ANP).

The successful candidate will work alongside the ANP providing care in a clinic environment. The role will include taking observations, cannulation, venapunture, telephoning patients to organise scans, surgical dressings,  organising treatment rooms and supporting the ANP's.

Training will be provided for the successful candidate

Please note: if this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed from your salary.
